About the Event
Nordea Masters 2018 is played 16-19 augusti on Hills Golf & Sports Club in Mölndal just outside of Gothenburg. The address to the golf club is Hills väg 2, 43151 Mölndal. www.hillsgolfclub.se
The competition is an annual event of the European Tour of Golf for Men, and has traditionally been played since 1991, making the event one of the oldest in Europe.
The last time the competition visited the Gothenburg area was in 1996 when Forsgårdens GK hosted.
The competition's starting field consists of 156 players who, after two rounds of 18 holes, are shortened to 65 players (and division) who play another two rounds before the winner is cored. If two or more players share the same result after 72 holes, the winner is selected by special play.
The competition is one of Sweden's largest sporting events with 86,100 visitors in 2017 when the competition was played at Barsebäck Golf & Country Club.
